At BMS Karate, we offer a variety of fitness oriented martial arts programs that improve our student's overall lifestyle. PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT skills are cultivated so as to improve self confidence, self esteem and concentration. SELF DEFENSE programs ensure that students are provided the tools to deal with confrontation which would include dealing with bullies.
The program will improve on physical discipline as well. HEALTH BENEFITS are evident. With the increased physical fitness the student improves in balance, co-ordination and flexibility. The cardiovascular workouts better the lung and heart condition. Stress is decreased and weight control is achieved. For the adult student, the process of physical deterioration is controlled.
Sensei Louis Rossi

Sensei Louis Rossi has been a practitioner of Martial Arts for 18 years and has trained with many of the highest ranked instructors from around the world. He was ranked #1 in tournament divisions across Ontario and New York State during his competitive years in Open Hand forms, Kobudo (weapons) and Kumite (sparring). His knowledge of Shotokan Karate supersedes that of most instructors in Canada thanks to his dedicated, experienced Sensei's of the past.
Sensei Rossi is a 4th Degree Black Belt (Yondan) and has been instructing Karate since he was 12 years old. Volunteering and spending time in front of students at such a young age gave him the experience needed to become what he is today. His teaching resume spans across the world; from Toronto to Ottawa conventions to seminars in France. His teachings are well respected by students of all ages, of all Martial Arts.
